Peggy Sue ,Up to now all the dogs have been somewhat healthy but, we have a red merle girl named Peggy Sue. She is a little over 1 year old and is ABC reg. (She has the same old story, nice people who got a sweet BC, a lot more dog than they thought.) So Peggy Sue came to us. She has Epilepsy and we have her on medicine, and she is doing great. She will need to stay on the MEDS and the cost is approx. $72.00 a year or 20 cents a day. Peggy Sue will make someone a great dog. She is very playful. She is very loving and gets along with kids and dogs. She would make someone a great performance dog.
Peggy Sue has a new home!!!!!!! Peggy Sue now lives with Della Wreght , The two them will start agility class in Sep.2007.We will keep you updated on how they are doing!
Peggy Sue fell In love with Della the first time she came to meet her. We wish them a long happy life together.

Chester, came from the Pensacola pound. My first thoughts were how did a nice guy like you get in a place like this. He is a smooth coat Border Collie about 2 years old. He is very well mannered and get along with kids and dogs. A big thanks to Winona Leard for fostering Chester and thanks to her Chester has a new family!
Callie
Callie is being foster with Emily Langley http://www.caithreamkennels
Callie is a very active fun loving girl. Callie is a 50 lb black and white smooth coated Border Collie. She is a year and a half old.
Callie's owner turned her into rescue because she was having medical problems and felt that she wasn't able to spend enough time with Callie.
Callie is very active and loves to please she is picking up obedience skills very quickly and loves to trot beside me when I go for bike rides. She loves to stare and stalk the chickens she would probably do well on livestock. She isn't a barker and does not harm the chickens. Callie would make a good obedience dog or a great family pet.
Callie gets along well with everyone but she will chase cars and cats (however if the cat slaps her for chasing it she leaves it alone). Callie is affected with CEA (collie eye abnormality) but her sight seems to be unaffected. However when she is an old dog her sight "could" be affected by a loss of depth perception.
Callie is a great girl who deserves a loving forever home and someone to go on bike rides with.
Callie is current on all vaccinations and is on heart worm preventative. Callie is spayed and microchiped.
